Beeston Fields Golf Club is a beautiful, historical building set in acres of parkland in Nottingham, and dates back to 1837 being the former home of Sir Harold Bowden, founder of the Raleigh Cycle Company prior to be developed into a golf course over 50 years ago by Fred Mitchell – a Lord Mayor and Sheriff of Nottingham. The property has continued in the Mitchell family until present day.
We were asked to undertake re-decorations to the external facade of the Club House – a wonderfully imposing, sandstone structure with fabulous views over the surrounding parkland and golf course. The works were to re-fresh the external masonry paint in Kashmir Beige, with contrasting windows and architectural mouldings in a darker shade to compliment the fabric of the building.
The Golf Club is an important and long-standing customer, and as such we have carried out works in various rooms of the Club House, Bar and Restaurants – including the Grand Dining Room - and to its surrounding tenanted properties, and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come. |
