NET Station Street & Wilkinson Street Nottingham Tram Depot

We have undertaken multiple painting and decorating contracts for Nottingham Trams Limited across Nottinghamshire, providing ongoing services to refresh the colour schemes at various tram stops, depots, and offices.

Our team was commissioned to work on the newly constructed Tram Depot at Wilkinson Street, part of the second phase of network enhancements for the Nottinghamshire region. We completed painting and decorating tasks in the tram hangar area, including block walls and flooring, and fully redecorated the internal offices and circulation spaces to align with the required corporate colour scheme.

Additionally, we carried out external projects at several tram hubs and stops, including Cinderhill, Basford, The Forest Recreation Ground, and Moor Bridge. These projects involved repainting handrails, railings, and display posts/signage using high-quality metal finishing paints in the specified corporate colours.

For the recent tram service extension connecting to Nottingham Station, we refurbished the stairwell linking the tram and train station. The stairwell exhibited corrosion on treads and joints due to water leakage. Our work included erecting full scaffolding, chemically cleaning the metalwork to remove grease and grime, and grit blasting to eliminate loose coatings, creating a stable base for repainting. The surfaces were then treated with epoxy primers, undercoats, and finishing coats supplied by Dacrylate Paints, Sutton in Ashfield.

All work was completed safely, ensuring no disruption to the public using the stairwells during the project.
